These terms govern your use of the LeadJaw platform, operated by AppJaw Ltd, 12, Melbourne Business Court, Millennium Way, Derby DE24 8LZ. Registered UK Company Number 17224477.
By creating an account or using the LeadJaw service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
LeadJaw provides a B2B website visitor intelligence platform that identifies companies visiting your website. We do this by processing business IP addresses and matching them against business network data. The service is provided on a subscription basis. You access it via a web dashboard at app.leadjaw.com and by installing our JavaScript script on your website.
LeadJaw is designed for B2B use only. When a visitor lands on your website, their IP address is collected and we attempt to match it against business network data. IP addresses that resolve to residential, mobile or consumer connections do not produce a match and no data about those visits is returned to your dashboard.
If your website primarily serves individual consumers, the volume of identifiable traffic will be low. LeadJaw does not identify residential or consumer visitors and cannot be configured to do so. Please read our GDPR and Data Privacy page before using the service if you are unsure whether LeadJaw is appropriate for your use case.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.
Acceptable use
You may use LeadJaw only for lawful B2B sales and marketing purposes. You must not use the platform to identify or target individuals for personal or consumer marketing. You must not use the service in a way that violates any applicable law, including UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
You are responsible for ensuring your use of visitor intelligence data complies with your own legal obligations as a data controller. You must disclose your use of LeadJaw in your own website privacy policy. LeadJaw provides guidance but does not provide legal advice.
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the LeadJaw platform or the data it produces.

Free trial
We offer a free trial period to new accounts. No payment details are required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period your account will move to a limited state until you select a paid plan. We reserve the right to modify or end the free trial offer at any time.

Data and privacy
LeadJaw processes IP addresses as part of the identification service. IP addresses are treated as personal data under UK GDPR. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests. IP addresses that resolve to residential, mobile or consumer connections do not produce a match and no data about those visits is returned to your dashboard.
Form fill data captured from your website visitors is processed by LeadJaw on your behalf as a data processor. You remain the data controller for any personal data submitted by individuals through forms on your website.
Our full collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. By using LeadJaw you agree to the terms of those documents. For a full explanation of how we handle IP address data and our lawful basis for processing, please see our GDPR and Data Privacy page.
